Halosulfuron-methyl is a selective, systemic, foliar-applied sulfonylurea herbicide. It is mainly used in crop fields such as corn, rice, sugarcane, sorghum, lawns, and orchards, specifically for the highly effective control of sedge weeds. It exhibits particularly strong activity against perennial sedges such as nutgrass (Cyperus rotundus), Eleocharis yokoscensis, Cyperus serotinus, and Cyperus iria.
The herbicide can be absorbed through the leaves or roots of weeds and translocated to the growing points, inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS enzyme) and blocking branched-chain amino acid synthesis, ultimately leading to weed wilting and death.

⚠ Note: This product is extremely effective against sedge weeds. For other weeds (e.g., gramineous weeds), it needs to be mixed with other herbicides (such as Atrazine, Bentazon, etc.).
✅ Specialized in controlling sedge weeds, with extremely high efficacy against nutgrass (Cyperus rotundus) and Eleocharis yokoscensis;
✅ Low dosage, high activity—takes effect with just 1 gram;
✅ Good safety for crops such as corn and rice;
