Product Description

Clodinafop-Propargyl is a selective post-emergence herbicide belonging to the aryloxyphenoxypropionate group. It is widely used in wheat fields to control annual grass weeds such as wild oats (Avena fatua), ryegrass (Lolium spp.), canary grass (Phalaris minor), and other grass weeds.

It is absorbed quickly through the leaves and translocated throughout the plant. By inhibiting the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), it disrupts fatty acid synthesis, causing growth inhibition and eventually weed death.

Product Application

• Crops: Wheat and other broadleaf crops

• For 15% EC formulation: 90–120 ml/ha, diluted with water and applied as foliar spray

• Dosage may vary depending on field conditions and formulation type

• Best Application Timing:

• Apply when grass weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage

• For wheat, the best timing is before tillering stage

Product Precautions

Do not use in oat, corn, or other monocot crop fields to avoid crop injury.

Avoid tank-mixing with strongly acidic or alkaline pesticides; compatible with certain broadleaf herbicides under guidance.

Apply under suitable weather conditions; avoid spraying in strong wind to prevent drift.

Respect the pre-harvest interval to ensure food safety and avoid residue issues.
