Mode of Action

Diazinon is an organophosphorus insecticide. It acts by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase activity in insects, disrupting the nervous system and causing paralysis and death.

Main Applications

Effective against a wide range of pests:

• Aphids, thrips, leaf miners, whiteflies

• Flies, mosquitoes, fleas, ticks

• Crop pests in vegetables, fruits, cereals, tea, and horticultural plants

Also applied in livestock and poultry environments for ectoparasite control.
