Florasulam is a highly effective triazolopyrimidine sulfonanilide herbicide widely used for selective control of broadleaf weeds in cereal crops such as wheat, barley, oats, and corn. With its unique mechanism of action, Florasulam inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), disrupting the synthesis of essential amino acids in weeds and ultimately leading to their death.
Widely used in wheat, barley, oats, corn, and other cereal crops for weed control
Highly effective against broadleaf weeds such as chickweed, amaranth, shepherd’s purse, and wild mustard
Can be tank-mixed with other herbicides like florasulfuron or fluroxypyr to broaden the weed control spectrum
Apply strictly according to the recommended dosage to avoid crop injury
Avoid spraying on non-target crops
Rotate with herbicides of different modes of action to prevent weed resistance
