Comprehensive management plan for resistant weeds in wheat fields in the Yangtze River Basin

Update Time:2025-06-18Click Count:44

Application scenario:

Due to the continuous use of metribuzin in wheat fields in Jiangsu, Anhui, and other regions for 10 years, the multi-flowered ryegrass has developed high resistance (resistance multiple >200 times) to acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors, and the control effect of conventional pesticides is less than 50%, posing a serious threat to wheat yields.

Product technology:

46.5% Fluorfenuron-ethyl suspension concentrate adopts a dual-target synergistic mechanism:

Fluorosulfuron blocks the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids by inhibiting the ALS enzyme in weeds;

Isoproturon interferes with the electron transport of photosystem II, disrupting weed photosynthesis;

The compounding of Silwet L77 silicone adjuvant reduces the surface tension of the liquid to below 22mN/m, significantly improving the adhesion rate of the weed leaves.

Field empirical evidence:

Efficacy data:

The experiment conducted in Yangzhou, Jiangsu in 2024 showed that the "Jin'ermaifengle" pre-seedling closure + post-seedling stem and leaf treatment scheme achieved a fresh weight inhibition rate of 96.8% for Lolium multiflorum, which was significantly higher than that of metribuzin, which achieved a rate of 68.3%.

Benefits of increased production:

If the 1000-grain weight of wheat increases by 1.2g, the yield per mu will increase by 12-15%. Based on the wheat purchase price of 2.8 yuan/kg in 2024, the additional income per mu will be 336-420 yuan.

Drug resistance management:

This compounding scheme delays weed resistance evolution by 3-5 years, which is in line with the alternating medication strategy recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs' "Guide to Scientific Medication".
